WEBZ Chicago – CACHET, SETF, and StoryCorps
CACHET, SETF, and StoryCorps have been working in partnership over the last year and a half to collect stories about how residents of Southeast Chicago experience their environment. WEBZ Chicago aired one of the collected stories on 11/22/19
On November 9, CACHET hosted a Toxic Tour with our community partners the Southeast Environmental Task Force. NIEHS officials and members of our External Advisory Board joined CACHET’s Community Engagement Core in touring some of the toxic sites around SE side of Chicago. After the tour, the group met to discuss challenges and issues facing the community and how the CACHET’s CEC can help.
